A Safe Space for Every Step of Your Journey
At PMR we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for ALL individuals who are dealing with mental health and addiction issues to discover and navigate their recovery journey. PMR was founded in July of 2022 to create a safe place in the LGBTQIA+-affirming and allies community for people recovering from mental health and/or addiction.
The name Purple Mountain is a nod to the founder's mother, who stood by his side and envisioned a world where everyone had access to the same care as he battled living in a world where many resources or safe places were not available to the LGBTQIA+-affirming and allies community while they were struggling with their recovery.

Who We Are
We are members of the LGBTQIA2+ community and our allies with lived experience in mental health and substance use disorder. We know how difficult it can be to access resources and receive the level of support needed to heal because we have faced many of these same challenges.
Our Mission
We believe everyone deserves equal access to resources and support. We aim to erase the stigmas that surround addiction, harm reduction, mental health, and recovery in our community and beyond.
Our History
PMR is an organization founded in July 2022. Together, they envisioned a world where every person, including members of the LGBTQIA+-affirming and allies community, has access to safe spaces, resources, and supportive recovery care.
